With options of natural oiled, or dark wood finish, the Tempest Slingshot oozes quality. Using our tried and tested fork layout from the Sureshot the Tempest has a reworked handle area giving extra length and stability without the use of a pinkie hole. It also packs a punch! with the right bands we have achieved speeds of 254fps (that’s 278kmh or 173mph!).
I use the highest quality Tung oil to protect my slingshot frames for several reasons.
It preserves the natural feel of wood, there is less chance of slippage in the hand and the frame can be easily maintained by the owner in the event of unsightly scratching etc.
