Khronos ILF Bow
NOW WITH THE BRAND NEW 4TH GENERATION UUREG LIMBS FROM UUKHA!
Below are details of one of the ultimate pairings ever to hit the traditional archery scene!
With the superb “true center-shot” riser from S&H and the sublime Uureg monolithic carbon limbs from Uuhka we have created the Khronos ILF Bow!
This is an amazing oportunity to put together a bow that dreams are made of.
With so many custom options from S&H and the peerless performance from the brand new Uureg limbs this is a bow that will blow the rest into the weeds!
The Khronos ILF Riser is a custom handmade piece built to the archers wishes.
The use of CNC technology is used for setting up the limb pockets thus making lateral adjustment unnecessary.
Tiller bolts have been designed according to WA rules, poundage can not be changed under any circumstances.
For adjusting the tiller between shooting with an arrow rest or “off the shelf” the riser is delivered with three different thumb bolts. Just switch the top bolt to get the tiller you need.
A process of intensive study has led us to the construction of an extremely precise and very balanced grip that feels very natural and comfortable in the hand.
The passed center cut of the window makes it very easy to find the right arrow for each type of shot.
The recommended minimum arrow weight is 7 grains per pound in the Icaro Riser.
The angle of insertion of the limb is fully compatible with standard ILF limbs, so the poundage of these limbs will be that indicated by the manufacturer according to their criteria and recommendations.
All S&H risers are now made from “Save the Rainforest Wood”.
“SaRaiFo” woods are made from veneers of fast growing wood species (usually poplar, basswood, some ajous).
The big benefit over natural wood is that the veneers are 100% free of any defects which could cause a riser to fail.
The veneers are glued/compacted and pressed in multiple production steps to form an optimized solid block from which the riser can be made.
Current STRF wood options can be seen here:
The end result is a completely stable, fault free riser with the look and feel of real exotic wood.
